Responsibility, Integrity, Confidentiality, and Getting the Job Done is what we all look
for in a business relationship. Florida Business Investments represents several local
chains and publicly traded corporations with their liquor license acquisitions and zoning
requirements. Bob Lasek is an expert in this field and has successfully helped several
chain grocery stores launch their new liquor store operations.
Zoning laws vary greatly from county to county and their respective municipalities.
Many counties in Florida have Blue laws and require a special exception zoning or
council meeting for the granting of a liquor license to a particular location. There are
also distance requirements from churches and schools to consider. There have been
untold millions of dollars wasted by chains that have purchased property and built a store,
only to find out that the zoning will not permit the sale of liquor.
Florida Liquor Licenses can be expensive. Florida Business Investments never discloses
the buyer of a license until an Asset Purchase Agreements is ready for execution. In
many cases a Seller will inflate the price of the license if the Buyer is a large corporation.
Florida Business Investments will accommodate your liquor license acquisition in a
confidential, efficient, and timely manor. We will prepare the Asset Purchase
Agreement, the Beverage Transfer Application, conduct all the appropriate UCC-1 and
lien searches. In addition, we will do a thorough search with the Division of Alcoholic
Beverages & Tobacco to verify that the license is in good standing and can be transferred
to a qualified Buyer.
If you should have any additional questions about our services, please contact Bob
Lasek either by E-mail or telephone.
